hey.. you guys make great stuff!.. love the flash player.. here is my dilemma... I need to play different movies/.swf on the same page from a link image... I saw the example you present of : Using QueryString items to control the FlashPlayer If you pass querystring values matching FlashPlayer attribute names to a page, the FlashPlayer will use the values you pass. For example, you could use the URL http://yoursite.com?movie=playthis.swf to play "playthis.swf". i think that might be for a skin object base player? I tried it and just get an .net error. I am a neophyte, non coder, dummies for DNN guy, in over my head1 hope you can help

Hi Joseph, You're on the right track (using the querystring). To help you, I need to know what URL isn't working, and what error message you are getting. If your site is on the Internet, an URL so I can see for myself would help, too.

Thanks for the quick response Glenn.. shortly after posting I figured out my syntac error and go it working.. you can hit the site at qc.sayitright.com.. the links below simply load a different swf file in the player above.. very nice... but here's what we REALLY want to do: the swf image [in the Inventua Module] in the header pane has embedded a Flash Movie FLV format player that is showing video streamed from a Flash Communcations Server.. There are a set of variables for the embedded FLV player that I can set at when I place the player in my swf file, two of which are critical: one is called video_rtmp and is set to the connection string to the server and application that streams the movie. the other is called video_flv and specifies which actual FLV movie to play. My goal is to write links that change the movie in the file, without loading another SWF file into the module... any thoughts? thanks Joe

I don't know of a way to do this, and by the sound of it, it's not in the scope of the FlashPlayer module. If you figure out how it's done, let us know & we can re-evaluate it then.
